Megan Morrison of Ontario, Canada, sang "Whatever You Say" at the first-ever NHSFR talent show to win the vocal solo category. "That would've been hard to follow," said judge Ron Lester about Megan's performance. Lester, an actor best known for his role as Billy Bob in "Varsity Blues," met Megan off stage and told the singer how to contact some of his friends from Curb Records. "They would so listen to you right now," he said. Megan commented that she was on "cloud nine." Megan was awarded a scholarship of $1,000.00 from Ariat Boots in addition to some clothing from the Wrangler 20X line. Congratulations Megan on your amazing job at the finals!
